When you switch on headlamps there is something in the circuit that dims the illumination on the heater controls etc, presumably to reduce the glare injside the cabin at night.
However, if using headlamps during daylight hours, this makes it difficult to see what settings the heater/AC is on.
Is there an easy fix (eg a wire to cut) to prevent the headlamps dimming the dash illumination?
(I have already done the 'clean up' of the switchgear LEDs as per excellent thread on this site)
Mine is 1996 KZN185 by the way.
Thanks
