Update:
While going out and checking the battery charger last night I noticed that when I closed the drivers door the radio was on! Opened the door and it went off - repeated and the same thing? Tried the door light switch but it wasn't that so played with the wires going from the body into the door and now it closes without the radio switching itself on.
Having been running it today on one battery and it seems fine - left with 12.8 volts this morning and it is now up to 13.6 so i'm guessing the alternator is working fine.
Could this be the solution to the problems? Anyone else experience this?Comment
