I would just like to warn others about buying cheap glow plugs....
I bought some glow plugs from eBay just as part of routine service and then had problems starting. Knowing that I had new plugs and 10.5v at the buzz bar I went through a nightmare of trying to find what was causing the slow start issue. Eventually I decided to pull the plugs and make sure they were heating up, they were so put them back in. I did not realize that they were not heating up enough until I switched it off and on 3 times to see if they could heat the fuel after a few tries. they did so i purchased some Bosh at double the price fitted them and it fired first time every time.... cheaper is not always better
