  • Rear window much strangeness

Right.. Window goes down, but not up...
I have done all the usual checks, and my checks have been checked too..

Been checking with this diagram. All the interlocks are doing what they are supposed to, tested at the switch, and at the relay box. I have tried a spare relay box. Relays are clicking for up and down when the key in the door is used, but only on down when the cab switch is used. On both boxes.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for inside the relay box?
Also the diagram shows a Diode on pin 17, whats that do?

    In short, Help!!

Yep, on the switch, and at the other ends of the wires too.

I have checked all the switches and interlocks. They are all fine, apart from the one on the button next to handle that opens the tailgate. I have tried it with this switch disconnected and, also shorted out with a bit of wire. Made no difference. Whats this switch actually for?

still might be a break in the wire somwhere

mine goes up and down on the switch in the cab, but doesnt on the key..

found it to be a split wire - havent got round to mendng it, but is on the to do list..

Has the motor damper separated from the driveplate?

Nope, works a treat off a pair of fly leads on a motorbike battery. Also double checked with a meter, getting + signal one way but not the other. We have just spotted the diagram I linked to has 18 contacts on the relay box, whereas the box in my truck has 20...

Fixed it! Despite having waved it all over the place while the multi meter was on it and it making no difference... It was the wiper not being parked properly... Muppet. Gave it a blip on the way in this morning, and now its fine.. Ah well, just an MOT to get now...
