Turbo light rev counter

I've got a replacement dash which in the Rev counter has the turbo light.

My existing one hasn't got the light anyone know if its compatable? Is it worth fitting as far as I can see people just get stressed by the uncertaintanty if its normal or overboost.

Well all I need is the speedo and I'll do the job on the temp gauge.

From memory, they are interchangable, just that the turbo light will never be on on a 3.0.

Thank you gentlemen, Once I've done the temp gauge mod I'll try and stick the whole binnacle on.

If there is some issue it's not tricky to swap out the individual components if needed later.

Temp gauge mod done should be trying it out this weekend I'll report and of course I have an abundance of resistors left over if anyone wants a pair....

The 2.4 speedo and temp gauge are both a tiny bit 'greener' than the existing 3.0 ones, but I am a little retentive.

Just waiting on some rear heater pipes from Toyota as when I removed mine I holed one. I just want to check the temp guage before I send because I stupidly didn't check their resitances before soldering them in....
