So that's what it looks like. It must be well tucked in somewhere. Trouble is that I have big hands. Not like those small Jap guys.

Thanks for all your help. The connector had come off the coolant sensor. I reconnected it and all is great. I love a repair that doesn't cost anything. The 3.0 1KZTE ENGINE COOLANT SENSOR IS TO THE RIGHT OF THE OIL FILTER. Best to remove the oil filter and you can just about see it.
