  • Radio Stopped working

    Hi all,
Can anyone help my Radio has stopped working. I have checked all the fuses I can to no avail. I have removed the radio and have both 12 volt battery feed also 12 volt ignition feed. Is there another in line fuse somewhere. Also the Cig Lighter is not working.

The Cig lighter has an inline fuse just behind the ashtray.

The radio and Cig lighter are on a common fuse. The fuses are located in the kick panel on the drivers side footwell.

If life's an uphill struggle then downhill from now on can't be that bad?!

          Rich,
I found the problem. It was not the fuse but the Aerial Relay behind the ashtray. I just took it out and pushed the plug back in all ok. I have also swapped out the Toyota Radio and fitted a CD / Radio using an adapter from Halfords Part Number for any future members is:- PC2-17-4 it works fine. Many thanks for your help. My next job is to try and get the Field Monitor working. It was working when I first got my KZN185 1996 SSR-G. I do not know if there is an in line fuse.
          Phil.

ok... so what's a field monitor?

incidentally, Koi (Nigel) is selling the wiring adaptors.. dunno if they're cheap but i'm guessing some cash will be going to help sick children! (hope that helps sell a few!)
