I can't get it up! (my aerial that is)

Please help...idiot proof guide required.

Surf came with a stereo(UK and very poorly fitted with a hacksaw by the look of it)

I changed it over to my own stereo, which was purely a matter of unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one and since then the aerial just won't go up, and I can't coax it out with a pair of pliers either.

What i need to know I what I have managed to mess up and how to fix it....

Think i am going to be spending half my life on this forum!

Is the rear amp working, ie do the rear speakers if any make any sound ?

If not and they did before you changed the unit check that the blue wire on the loom with arial embossed on it is connected to something.

Also could be the relay near your right foot as your sat in the drivers seat.

some radios have a diff feed position on the loom ? have you checked to see if it is on the correct pin ?
