  • air con probs

    hi all
does anybody know where abouts the pressure switch and relay are for the air con system its a 3.0 lt diesel 2 gen
ive fitted a new pump and regassed the system but the pump does not energize, when you supply a feed to the front clutch it runs ok , so thinking must be a pressure switch fault or a relay , cannot find a pressure switch anywhere or even the relay!
    many thanks

Pressure switch is on the evaporator, inside the housing, behind dash. Good fun getting at that. There's also relays etc on the housing.

That will mean glove box out first then the blower motor and it's housing. Next section is the air con evaporator which is this bit.

(Note: This is my 2.4 but the 3Ltr is pretty much the same.)

Pressure switch can be seen in pic 14.
