Replace broken aerial

I have searched for a while on this one but can't find the level of detail I need.
The electric aerial on my surf has been broken since I got it. I have decided to replace it with a basic non-electric aerial which I have ordered from Roughtrax.

Can anyone tell me how I go about taking off the front left wing so that I can get the old one out and the new one in (or do I just remove the bit under the arch - if so how?)

How do I go about getting the cable all the way back to the radio? Do I need to remove the dash, if so - how?

inner wheel arch (plastic bit)just bolts in the wire just goes through bulk head into rear of radio ....glove box is easiest to remove to gai.n access to dash
