  • rear o/s window problem

Hi all, Just got me 93 3.0 ssrx today and what a machine, only problem is the rear o/s window don't work! I was just wondering if each window is fused individually or if they all run off the same fuse?

I bet you can see it coming!!!

If so where is the fuse box/boxes?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'm not sure where the fuse for the windows are, but check the drivers side footwell. on the right hand side there is a plastic panel behind it are some fuses...

does it work on the door switch or panel of drivers door, or neither?

pull the door trim off and make sure its all there, people usually use this motor to fix the rear window when that goes. You may find the motor has been 'donated' to the back window.

Cheers guys, None of the switches work (for that door)! i think first chance i get i'll be looking to see if the motors moved home. Also, looking at a few older posts it seems that Stormforce seems to be a very handy person to know! would you be able to get your hands on the two interior light covers (tailgate and the middle) for a 93 ssrx 3.0? If so could you let me know how much and how to get them, cheers.

I could do with getting the light covers as soon as, It may be a little while before i get a chance to check out the motor what with wife, kids etc.

How do i go about getting the light covers from your good self, and more importantly for you, how do i go about paying for them?

Just like to say thanks, stormforce. Received the light covers today, just what the doctor ordered. Hopefully i will get a chance this weekend to check the rear window motor! Oh yeah, my tailgate window has stopped working on the switch but still operates with the key in the door, i presume this is not a fuse and more likely a relay? Am i talking b*ll*cks? Can anybody shed some light on this issue,Ta very much!

double check the widow lock button. The switches can get dust/dirt in them which will stop them working. You can take them apart to clean them or i can send onein the post.
Check the wiring from the boot to the tailgate also as that can break.
Can you hear the relay click when pressing the button inside
