Glow Plug DashBoard Light

Hi

Firstly, great forum. I have been dropping in for a few years and learned a lot.

I have a 2nd Gen 3ltr SSRX auto , had it for 3 years and has been very reliable. With the cold weather I noticed it was a little slower to start - no big deal (it's been -8c at night up here for a while).

Anyway, the issue is since I've owned the vehicle the Glow plug light on the dashboard has not come on. I didn't notice this until I read a couple of recent threads. Is this likely to be just the dash bulb? Everything else seems to be OK. If so does anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Update - yesterday for the first time the glow plug light came on with the ignition - weird. It came on for less than a second, same again this morning. Seemed to startup quicker on both occasions, so I think we're good. "Don't fix if its not broke".

It dosn't stay on for long on a 3.0, easy to miss if your not looking, if its starting and running ok I'd leave it alone.
