Remote lock - key fob

I've had to replace the flat battery in my remote-lock key fob. The red LED on the fob now lights when I press either button, but I am unable to operate the alarm & locks on the Surf remotely. My wife's fob still works the alarm & central locking fine.

Is there something I need to do to re-activate my key fob?

Problem solved eventually. Removing & refitting the battery made no difference. But I tried removing the battery, pressing both buttons whilst inserting the battery, which was a bit fiddly.

The LED stayed on but pressing the buttons the LED went off & then the normal button functions worked just fine!
