Hi,
Having owned my 1990 2.4 Surf for many years now I didn't expect to come across a problem I couldn't solve, however this one has got me really stumped. We had a rare warm day a couple of weeks ago so I thought I would see if the air con still worked and bugger me it did!! i was driving along chuckling to myself when it all stopped working, little light went out on the aircon switch and the blower stopped, must be a fuse...nope, all fuses behind the glovebox OK. Now the blower fan has only worked on high for a couple of years so I knew the resistor pack was duff, I took it out today and it came out in pieces!! My question is....can the resistor pack stop the blower fan from working completely? if not has anyone got any ideas as to why the aircon and the blower fan should fail together?
