gen 3 surf electrical problem

Hi here goes
i have a gen 3 surf and the door open light works ok on the dash.
comes on when doors are open and goes off when closed etc......
until you start the truk all doors are closed but the ligkt is on !!!!1
not too much of a problem but very annoying.
anyone assist with the remedy apart from removing the bulb?

Hi my wifes 3rd gen does the same it has been like that for the last 5 years dont worry about it.

Open the rear wheel carrier and give it a good slam.

I had same problem it was the rear wheel carrier not closein proper good slam or a squirt with wd40 on the pi helped mine now goes out with every close.
