sunroof not working

hi any one help my sun roof is not working .
i can hear the moter but the roof stays shut.

open the little flap beside the roof switch and inside you will see the slot for a screwdriver to fit to manually open or close the roof. if you turn it and nothing happens, the cable will probably be broken. if you can move it with the screwdriver, the drive gear on the motor is either loose or the teeth have sheared off. either way fairly big bucks. good luck!

If you need parts for it Bob (Hilux) on this forum has a complete sunroof assembly put aside for me (hopefully he has still got it as it has been a while and I've not been able to pick it up yet because of various things).

I only need the Glass so we could maybe work something out.

I know Feltham pretty well as I used to live in Ashford Common.
