Speedo clock Mileage???

Hi All,

My speedo on my Surf has packed up, I changed the speedo sensor on the gearbox but still no joy so i think it must be the speedo clock itself.
I have just bought a set of clocks from Stormforce fromk this forum but I have a slight problem regarding mileage.
My speedo reads 150,000Kms but the replacement clocks read 189,000Kms.
Is there any way that i can change the reading on the replacement clocks to read 150,000Kms to match the actual mileage of my truck, otherwise it shows that my truck has done nearly 40,000Kms more than it actually has?

Not that I can think of. Can't say as I can remember anyone posting up a method in the past. Unless you're planning on selling the vehicle, however, it shouldn't matter. Just make sure you notify the M.O.T chap of the change when you have your next M.O.T, to save the insurance company possibly getting arsey in the future.
