Cig. Lighter

Asides from in the Drivers footwell is there another fuse for the cig. lighter as mine has stopped working everything else electrical work works radio, lights A/C just no power to cig lighter.

Checked the fuse in the footwell and it is fine was wondering if there was another?

i had this problem when i first bought my surf.
It turned out to be a type of fuse link at the rear of the lighter assembly itself. I think its a last resort if all else fails.
I repaired it cause I had some fuse wire handy, but if this is the problem I would suggest replacing the whole lighter assembly.

Take out the lighter , turn it over and do a continuity check from the wire connector to the middle pin inside of the assembly, if theres no continuity then that most likely your problem.

There is a fuse box under the bonnet on the drivers side towards the bulkhead.

Check to see if a spade terminal has become undone, mine did
