Drivers window problem.

It`s driving me nuts! Urgently need help from those of you in the know. My 2nd gen ssrx drivers window will go up and it will go down. Wot it won`t do (except on the odd rare occasion) is settle in an intermediate position. I like fresh air but not when it`s blasting down my neck at a rate of knots, i have no choice but to have it either fully closed or fully open. Can someone please tell me if it is more likely to be a mechanical or electrical problem.

HIT the swith while its moving

The switch works either Auto by pressing and leaving it, or press it, then press it again at the place you want it to stop.

Only the drivers window works like this, the others work while the switch is pressed like normal.

my switch has a kinda two position thing, press a little bit and it is manual, fully press (or pull) it and it's automatic chop off fingers mode.

You seem to have an over sensitive switch or an under sensitive finger.

Thx for the replies folks, i know that1s how it`s supposed to work but it sort of `er..............doesn`t.
