i reckon bad earth somewere, are any one of your side or headlights dim when they are on?

Me too. Bad earth can do weird things to the autos. I really can't pimpoint where to look except maybe at the lights as allready stated or on the box itself. Perhaps run a temporary earth to the box and see what happens.
