radio interference

I seem to be getting mobile phone interference on my radio, I swapped the jap one for one I had lying around. There are certain hot spots where the interference is worse, it's been happening for a while but is now starting to irritate me. Any body got any ideas? Does it just need an in-line suppressor from halfords?
