Overdrive Relay

Hi all,

As you'll know I'm having a few electrical issues wi my surf. Todays one is overdrive.

I've got all sorts of issues with the dash light: When OD is off and the car in park, od off light is bright. When the brake is pressed it dims a bit, put it in gear and it dims a bit more. Also, there is no relay click when I operate the switch.

Can anyone tell me which is the OD relay? Also, anyone got any ideas as to what can be causing this?

this is a long shot mate but have you checked the alternator? Is it doin what its supposed to do?

Yep, the charging circuits all seem fine.
