Do you mean the one at the bottom where the sump guard is & has 2 fans mounted on it??

if you do you can but might need to de-pressureise the system first, aparently that stuff can be cold if dumped overboard onto your hands.

Mine had no gas left in in so just removed the rad & fans and tied the pipes out of the way

Do you mean the compressor at the top driven by a belt? If there's no gas in the system then yes, rip it all out, including the hoses, rad and twin fans behind the bash plate.

As Vince says - Rip all of it out. Less load on the engine and less weight on the car. Done mine ages ago. If it gets hot in the summer I open a window!

So now I get at least 50mpg and the truck does 0 - 60 in under 5 seconds and tops out at 149mph.

there defo is an increase in power but not hugely! how'd ya get urs to do top speed of 149mph boyo???
