heated seats??

Vacuumed the surf the other day (even though its been parked up for months). noticed theres a wire running from under the drivers seat into the carpeting.

Does this mean I should have heated seats (and mirrors)??? 'cause if I do its not working. Have read somewhere these features are linked to the rear demister switch. Please confirm.

I have a leather interior and it would be nice if the seat were heated.

Any advise?

The wire from the drivers seat is for the indicator light that tells you you haven't put your seat belt on...

I think it may be the power supply for the optional hair dryer attachment.
