  • Japanese TV in my Surf. Can I convert?

    Hi folks.

Got a Japanese TV screen in the KZN185 I bought of a relative which, of course, doesn't work here in the UK. Can I get it converted to work here?

Okay, 'why bother' you ask. Why indeed. But I'm curious..........

    Cheers!

Not sure which system the Japs use, but I doubt it. Not worth the hassle.

I think so, too, Matt. I mean, a TV in a Surf. Is that normal? You leave the lounge to get out and bam, there's another TV! I need a stereo as CD player bust so I'll stick to the tunes!

Watch somebody post 'Oh yeah! It's easy. A fiver gets it done and you can do it yourself!'. You know I'll be tempted!

        swtich NTSC to PAL video

japs use NTSC format but most portable screens 12VDC are dual PAL and NTSC usually switched in the video settings menu. more importantly is the dvd player if you have one this is probably set to region 1 we are in region 2 you will have to search internet for unlocking code done through your remote to allow all regions to play.
