    Speedo and Overdrive

    Please help!

    I've a 3.0 TD L reg Surf that's been great until Saturday. The Speedo stopped working and the Overdrive light flashes on and off once you engage Drive. I've read some of the other discussions on this and I'm guessing that I've an electronic Speedo. Since all the other instruments work, I'm guessing it's not a fuse. I've checked for loose connections etc behind the dash (screw behind heater controls had me for a while!). I'm hoping it's the sensor, particularly as the O/D light keeps flashing, but I'm unable to find it. Can someone please describe where to look (in idiot proof terms if possible please!) or if you think it might be something else...

            I had to do the best i can Vince as you were'nt about at the time but at least your back and can correct any sh1te info i may of put out..
