I hope there is someone who understands electrics and likes a challenge.

My electrics on my 93 3.0ltr SSRX are doing strange things. It started with my speedo packing up. Pulse coming out of the Transducer but not reaching the clock, a continuity test on the wire is OK (the continuity test was carried out by puting 12 volts through the circuit). The second fault is after I have been driving for 15 to 20 mins the O/D Off light flashes on and of the twenty seconds later it will do it again. If I stop the engine and restart it starts the on off routine after about 5 mins.
Any advice would be appreciated. Or if someone knows of a electrician who could help. my email address is craig10_7@yahoo.co.uk

A flashing O/D light indicates a problem with the transmission.

The OD light will start flashing if the speedo isn't working. Fix the speedo and reset the ECU and it will stop flashing unless there is another fault.
