Indicator stalk - swap sides!

Hi All..

does anyone know if there is an easy way to swap the stalks...(so indicator is on the left stalk) im getting fed up with trying to inform people of my immanent left turn using my wipers!

i would normally just get used to it..but the 'yota is not my main vehicle so as soon as i get used to it...im back in a different car and getting the sticks muddled up again!

i looked at the option of roatating it all..but the angles of the sticks would be all over the place...i was thinking of replacing of another vehicle?..are the later gens the same?...anyone done it?

My Left hand drive MK1 4Runner has them opposite the Linda's RHD Surf, So I'm the king of 'Wiper indicators'



So see if you can find a LHD 2nd Gen and see what side they are on. Try US Ebay.

I've also looked into this in the past. I get sick off intermitantly turning right when it starts to drizzle.
my works car and the wife's BM have them on the wrong side to the surf!
If my memory serves me correctly - most older toyota's (carina corolla etc) use the same stalk units, so may be worth a scr@p yard visit when it gets warmer!
