sorry,but it`s rear window question

it`s been intermittent going back up for a while but has now stuck down.
it`s always fine going down with key or switch and when going up it was intermittent with both key and switch.
so switch and keylock are ok
the up relay is making the right noises
all plugs and wires leading to relays look fine
does this mean it is very likely to be motor (in which case i will swap with n/s/r door) or could it be a broken wire in loom leading into tailgate?
i`m hoping the relay is ok as it`s making the same noise it did when it was working.
any help would be great.

no mate it`s just a click from relay and silence.

First port of call would have to be the wires then,

Check where they go from the vehicle into the tailgate, if all is good consider testing the motor with +12v direct from the battery

was hoping it would be the wiring so will relax with a bit of hope left in me that it will be an easier job than i was dreading, thanks again mate.
