In a similar vein to Martsco's thread about speakers (which I will certainly be following up for my rear speakers having spent £40 at Halfrauds for my front pair! 
) I thought I'd post another link to Maplin's. Just bought a great little handheld multimeter that comes with a thermocouple for temp measurements as well and comes in at only £12.49 with postage.
They've got them on offer for a short time, £20 off, so if you need one (and you probably will at some point to trace all that lovely Japanese wiring!!!) then go to...
