over drive light

can any one throw some light on this my over drive light keeps flashing on and off every few seconds . i,ve tried flicking the switch on and off incase it had ,nt latched properly even does it when the vehical is stationary. any ideas cheers

i would suggest looking through the forum via the search button if no 1 can give a direct answer, this as been covered before but after a quick search couldnt find it but im sure its there.....

thanks for every ones help on this subject .
the problem was speed sensor wire which runs to ECU and also satnav had ground it self to the body ie short and so was not being picked up by the control unit alsorted now and is back to norm.
