    overdrive light

    HI all

    I'm new to the forums and I'm new to the 4WD things.
    I just got myself a 1987 HiLux Surf. 2.4L turbo Deisel auto.

    when i but over on. the O/D light flash on/off all the time.
    Is this normal?

    But a part from that the car is beautiful. I love it.

    Not sure about the 2.4L but on the 2nd gen 3.0L the O/D light is on when the O/D is off and off when the O/D is on. If it's flashing then you might have a problem with the gearbox.

        hi guys
        thank for the reply.

        well I'm not sure about the ploblem with the gear box.

        But i do know that it do change to 4th gear when over drive is on.
