horn not working

Have to agree with the earlier comment - the standard horns are a bit "girly" for a beast like a surf.

Why do japs have ****py horns (the pajero was exactly the same - massive truck & horns that sounded like a duck on helium)

Replaced mine with 2 tone kit from Halfrauds - cost £11.99, took 10 mins to wire in & sounds like a 44 ton artic

Just to complete the thread -

Got the new horn relay and all is now working, all seems simple and obvious when it's understood

Spares shop didn't have one. Toyota ordered one in for me.
