Sloooooow windows

Hi all,
all my windows (the rear doesnt even bliddy work, now) are slow as mollasses running uphill in winter, we are talking almost 10 seconds for them to go from fully open to fully shut.

Any ideas on how to aproach this problem? I never understood electrickery and would apreciate someone starting the solution at kindergarten level.

If you get a can of silicone lubricant spray from Halfrauds, just spray it on all of the window channels, was in a green can last time I bought some.

If they are still slow after doing the above, carefully remove the door cards and peel back the plastic sealing sheet. Spray all the moving parts with spray grease. Mine were slower than a snail race. I did them two years ago and so far, so good. I also did the sunroof, which was straining so much that it was making the headlamps dim.

To add to all the above, when you get the door cards off, clean out the window channels with a cotton wool bud. you'll be surprised how much crud you get out. Also, while the door cards are off, clean out the drain holes in the bottom of the doors, and spray the insides of the doors with waxoil to protect against the salt off the roads. Salt is not used in Japan, and your door bottoms will rust if not protected.

Hey Udhi, How are you? Mine's getting a bit slow to, Need to get the panel
and plate off and give it a good cleaning and lube up, I will send you an email
with some pics of the jaos bars on if thats ok, Very pleased with em mate,

well , you got all the answers from the others , but DO IT NOW, I didn't and got burgers and sauce all down both sides of the glass, FAST foooooood SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW glass.....dont mix

Glad to see you guys got back "darn saarf" in one piece, and glad you liked the bars. Easy to fit arent they? Stunning effort mate!, making it all the way up here for them.
