Why wont it stop where I want ?

My drivers window which has auto on the button is either open or closed. Is there a way of stopping it partially open the same as the passenger side

The drivers side is a two position switch, press it lightly, up or down and the window will move a small amount, press the switch harder and the window will be automatic.
That's what mine does anyway!

They are supposed to do that Vince, but mine developed a mind of it's own. I carefully removed the drivers door arm rest and got to the underside of the switches. The connectors where all showing signs of corrosion, so I cleaned them up and soldered them. Works as good as new now.

Switch cleaner spray is good as well, from any electrical shop,
