heater prob! help!!! PLEASE!!

need help with my heater! it only gets warm! barely! even when driving for over an hr the other day it just stayed warm! could it be a thermostat prob? if it is, is it a big job?also used that funky search button and found out you can get air locks in water system if uve ever run out of water (ashamed to admit!) which can effect heater performance luckily no cracks in head as yet and engin temp always good maybe begginers luck!
p.s. this is for the lady on rad2 the other day whyning on about 4x4 in cities
ps would be great if you could aslo post answer to my hotmail....cheeky i know but not sure how to go about finding my way around site yet by which time it may be to late and i may have frozen to death!! sl8eo@hotmail.com

It's your brake light switch!!!
when you press your brake pedal - the pedal makes the switch which in turn illuminates your rear brake lights, to warn other road users behind you that you are either slowing down, or you have got very big feet or wearing clowns shoes!!
