brake warning light

Hi
going to sort the next item on my list out this weekend.
My brake warning light glows on the dashboard about half intensity. Anyone got any suggestions? It the surf equipped with pad wear indicators? I will of course check the fluid level and luk 4 leaks.

Its also a vacuum warning light, you have a vacuum pump as part of the alternator, it could be eating the vanes of the pump.

But check the fluid level, and handbrake lever switch first.

Handbrake lever switch eh? I have tried shoving the lever home but it still glows, will check this out first. ta matey

had same problem,, first
check your brake fluid level
happy with it??
disconect level sensor(little plug 8inches away)
now check your light

fault is in the float assembly
