New relay fitted see pics window now works

Hi,
I have fitted new relay to my surfboard. It is the rear window down relay.
Bought from maplins for about a quid.

Use a desoldering pump and you will find the new relay is a direct replacement, all 5 pins line up perfectly with the holes in the board and the thing works perfectly.

I bought 2 so when the up relay fails I can replace that as well.

Forgot to add. Its a 12 amp, thats the highest capacity they have in this physical size. Like I say, it works a treat.

Looking at the original, i don't think this is more than 12 amp anyhow and probably less which explains why they are so ****!!!!
