    What is this?

There is a fuse for it under the bonnet (under the smaller black cover)
It's a 30 amp fuse and it had blown.
I have no idea when it blew, I found it by accident.

    TIA

The CDS fan is the air conditioning condensor fan, located under the engine in an auto and (I think) behind the main rad in a manual.

      Thanks

Presumably the airconditioning won't work without it?
Or would it just not be as effective?

I am guessing that it would work a little bit, cos the pump would still be running and you would have some air passing through the radiator. Maybe someone who knows more about these things could enlighten us?

          thanks

I wonder how long it's been gone, the air conditioning did struggle when the car was idling in traffic but this was in August when it was 100 degrees!
