After all the threads on this forum about the confusion of most Surf owners trying to fit a replacement stereo headunit and not being able to use the rear speakers and / or the aerial (rear speaker sizes, rear amps, mixed up wiring for aerial and rear amp resulting from using the correct(!) ISO loom connector without tweaking blue wires) I propose a solution
Can someone write a nice simple sticky thread that clearly states what happens with the loom, which wires to alter to enable the rear speakers and how to keep the aerial under control when you want to retract it but still listen to music...
Any takers...
I'll do it myself once i have managed to work out what to do and its all working... I just have to decipher 50 slightly different threads that all say roughly the same stuff but maybe change wire colours at certain steps in the process
All useful stuff here on this forum - just takes a while to search out info - seemed like a common enough question to request a sticky
