Here is the wiring diagram. I would recommend putting in a relay so you dont burn out the loom.

            Martin.

Best place to connect to the main beam circuit is right behind the light unit on the drivers side - it's not that easy to get to as you need to move the battery back a little but and remove the windscreen washer resevoir. With a test lamp you can then test for which is the wire live with main beam - easier than reading the wiring diagrams.

            Cheers

                      fuse ok.
                      checked all connections there sound.
                      how do i test/check relay?
should i take switch out of circuit as instructions say you you can
but means you cant switch them off if you dont need them on with main beam.

                        Martin.

You should be able to hear the relay click when you switch them on. If you don't hear a click then it ain't working. You will need to use a test lamp to check the live feed to the switch side (the one from the main beam cable) and also check the earth (connect test lead to a known live and touch the earth cable. Then check the live input to the power in side (the battery feed). and the earth. Then check on the output side again. By process of elimination you should be able to find where the problem is.

                        Cheers
