  • Alpine MP3 CD changer help

Ive got and MP3 changer i put in the car when i bought it in Nov last year. At Sailsbury a disc got jammed (not playing) and didnt eject so i had to take the changer out so it was level then the dics came back into the magazine.

The question is, there are damper adjusters on the side which you can set to horizontal or vertical, I have it on its end so which is this or should i not have it on end? Im guessing horizontal is normal mounting on its bottom and vertical might be on its back? Need to sort it as i get error-01 on my headunit now cos the disc is still stuck until I take it out again...

Anyone mounted thier changer in the roof (by roof speakers?)

good thinking!... um... usuall i've seen the on their side and i'd imagine either side would do so you can mount the on either side of the boot?...

i presumed that too - i guess ill have to try it on its back... if so ill need to take the rear pocket out and mdf it up to get it in.
