Hello guys I have a problem with my speedometer, it doesn't work and I bought the truck without it working.
Now what I notice is that when I accelerate to approximately 70km+ the needle goes up to over 100km which is obviously a false reading and when I slow down below 70km it goes back to 0 again fast. (Note: the rev counter works)
My speedometer is the version without the cable, so I'm guessing it could be a problem with the sensor maybe?
I also have a screen/radio in the dash which reads accurate kmph, could it be that the previous owner done something bad with the wiring to make the screen reading work which resulted in a non working speedometer?
I also have another small problem with the 4WD light, when I switch to 4WD the green light in the cluster doesn't come on, I tried changing the bulb but still nothing.
