3G Cruise Control: To add or not

Greetings:

I have a 99 3rd gen 4x4, auto tranny, 2.7l petrol Surf from Japan. I am in Mozambique.

Am interested in whether I can add cruise control? Anyone have thoughts about whether it can be done, how it would be done, what is needed to do it if it can be done? I take fairly long day rides, low and high speed, and at the end of a long day my lower leg and ankle is not feelin' happy.

Please help.

Hi Dave , where are you in Moz ?

I live in Malawi, travelling to Moz island next week.

The Cruise control thing has been done before I think, try searching in the Aussie and US 4runner forums as well.
