So after a month waiting on a new Thermostat(No problems with over heating). I replace my thermostat and dingle was pointed up and boom truck overheats. So I take it out and test it in some boiling water everything looks to be working properly. Enter it back in the rig. Start her up and she gets to temp stays for about a minute then rises again....With Thermostat removed the Radiator flows better. Any Ideas Fellas.

since we are discussing the ever beloved engine thermostat, ... anyone knows the serial/product number of this item?
(2L-TE LN130 engine/chasis, winterpack version, JDM)
i am about to get one. the guy at the auto supply says there are several thermostat types for the hilux surf 2L line up.
they either need a sample, which I obviously don't have.
or a serial/product number would be my next best bet.Comment
