    i have a 1994 V6 4 runner with gas conversion i've ran on gas for 3 years now with no probs,last month the MIL light came on the dash and engine started to lose alot of power and run very rough as if the timeing was out .
    checked engine ECM Fault code by shorting diognosis socket code 52 came up KNOCK SENSOR .
    Can anybody tell me where the sensor is located Toyota want 200 quid for one !!!!
    Can i get one cheaper from anywhere else?

      yhanks for the link ,found sensor also found new 3.4 ssr-g V6 this week in autotrader so black beauty 4runner is no more
      new surf is a totally different beast will get her gassed up next week i'll let you know hot it goes
