    HELP HELP

I am trying to get the cylinder head of my V6 4runner.

Have got all head bolts out, disconected manifolds, but it still wont come off. It's loose a bit anyway. Do I have to take the Inlet manifold of and seperate the two heads or is it possible to remove both heads at the same time. Job was going so well untill we hit this problem. Any other advice would be appreciated as well with regards re-assemble.

    Cheers

    Steve

There are usually locating studs on most blocks, so you need to pull the heads off straight, leaving the intake fixed on means the head won't come off the studs cleanly.

I'd not leave the intake on anyway, danger of cracking/warping the intake manifold trying to left both heads and the intake at once.

if you have trouble as the head seams to be stuck tap around the edges with a non metalic object like a block of wood
