  • ignition timing

    hi all,

ive recently done a cylinder head rebuild on my truck, i had some issues with it not starting, so called in a chap who figured out it was the ignition timing (i didn't even click that i had to set it again), anyway, he got it going really sweet, then the cam shaft oil seal went, so i replaced it along with the timing belt.

do i have to reset the ignition timing, as it seems to be running a bit sluggish, which it wasn't doing before the oil seal went.
If you pretend it goes fast... it will!!

If you changed the timing belt and didn't do it at the time, yes.
