Air Conditioning Unit?

Hi, do all the 90-95 surfs and 4Runners use the same Air Conditioning unit and piping or are they model specific.

Also, can any garage fit a A/C Unit to my V6 4Runner or will it need to be done by a A/C specialist?

lol u can tell the summer is nigh when questions like this start popping up.

will be interested to know the results as i was asking a mechanic who did my MoT and he said u would need a specialist, and that it would be more hastle than its worth.

I know! Lol

Well....i'll be taking my 4Runner back to South Africa with me at some point and man O man will I need the AC.

I have the option to buy the unit and pipes from a 2.4D but just need to hear if it's the same as the V6 unit.
