Cheers people, i think that sounds like the best option for me, bonus being i can keep her on the road and break something else, whilst i fix this little issue.

I had a quick word with Stevo, though i said id ring at a more convenient time (he was working i think). He did however mention to me that it was going to cost me ALOT of money!!!

Will have to get some more info when am next in Stockport.

I have no clue what heads cost in used condition. (meaning pre-refurbishment).

I'm only a poor student and all my money goes on LPG and insurance lol.

I honestly wouldn't know what to fairly offer you, especially considering i'm gonna have to pay to get it all re-furbed.

Is £100 round abouts a fair price, or would somebody be being ripped off??

Sounds like a very fair price provided the heads aren't cracked - which is very unlikely to have happened, due to the sacrificial nature of the original gaskets.

Dosn't look like the gasket has failed but they must have cooked the engine as the cam shaft was siezed will have the other one off on monday. Will let you know as soon as poss

hi Chris, heres a pic of the tensioner im talking about, for some reason all the pics on ebay dont correspond to it. its the bracket thats important.

Hi chris, this is a better picture of what im after, its the bracket thats really important. you can see where it bolts on under the big cam sprocket.

dont wory about the tensioner anymore, i'm gonna bite the bullet and pay toyota for one, everybody is saying im best of fitting a new one anyway as apposed to risking a second hand one.

but i desperatly need those manifold bolts, and also a coulpe of the inlet manifold screws. they have a hexagonal head with a philips screwdriver groove in them aswell. could you please get them sent out to me as soon as you can.

i know youve got your own things going on (obviously), and do really appreciate your time (nothing is easy is it).
